Indonesia's free health screening programme, known as CKG, has achieved a significant milestone by serving 100 million participants, representing about one-third of the nation's population, since its launch in early 2025. The initiative, implemented across over 10,000 community health centres and 48,000 schools, targets early detection of health issues, with notable findings including 41% of screened children having cavities and 22.1% showing elevated blood pressure. This government effort aims to enhance access to healthcare in underserved regions, providing systematic health data for targeted interventions and fostering a healthier, more productive future workforce.",

This data serves as a basis for more targeted
interventions in both the education and health sectors,” Qodari
said.

He added that the initiative is designed to reach frontier,
outermost, and disadvantaged regions to ensure that no child is left
behind.

“Through this program, the government is not only safeguarding
students’ health but also building a foundation for healthier and more
productive human capital, ready to face the future,” he added.

Related news: Free health check to increase Indonesians’ life
expectancy: Minister

Related news: Indonesia finds mental health issues in 10 pct of
screened children

Translator: Fathur Rochman, Raka Adji
",
