        "content": "<p>Free condoms for prostitutes<\/p>\n<p>SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan: The city's health office has<br>\ndistributed more than 15,000 condoms to workers in a local red<br>\nlight district in its drive to prevent the spread of the human<br>\nimmunodeficiency virus (HIV).<\/p>\n<p>The move was taken two months after the authorities discovered<br>\nthat one prostitute had contracted the deadly virus after all<br>\noccupants were given blood tests.<\/p>\n<p>The brothels that were the first official targets are located<br>\non Kilometer 10 between Samarinda and Balikpapan, the Antara news<br>\nagency reported. The complex is inhabited by 529 prostitutes<br>\nmanaged by 40 pimps.<\/p>\n<p>There are 24 centers of prostitution in East Kalimantan and<br>\nnearly 5,000 prostitutes.
