        "content": "<p>Free clinic for the poor opens<\/p>\n<p>BEKASI: A free clinic for the poor, the Gerai Sehat Bekasi,<br>\nwas opened by three organizations on Saturday at Jl. Chairil<br>\nAnwar No. 35, Margahayu, East Bekasi.<\/p>\n<p>Clinic director Piprin B Yanuarso said it was hoped that the<br>\nopening of the health center for the poor would motivate other<br>\norganizations to follow suit. \"I hope the clinic will become a<br>\nmodel for free health services for poor people.\"<\/p>\n<p>The three organizations are Dompet Duafa, Proctor and Gamble<br>\n(P&amp;G) and the Indonesian Pediatricians Association (IDAI).<\/p>\n<p>IDAI chairman Hardiono Pusponegoro said 4,000 poor people in<br>\nthe area had already registered as patients.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hardiono, the clinic will also disseminate<br>\ninformation on caring for infants.<\/p>\n<p>Gerai Sehat Bekasi is the third clinic to be operated by the<br>\norganizations after one in South Jakarta and another in<br>\nTangerang. -- JP<\/p>",
