        "content": "<p>The Jakarta Youth Care Forum (FPPJ) held a public discussion\naddressing the strengthening of youth roles in the Jaga Jakarta\nprogramme. The programme was initiated by DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono\nAnung and Deputy Governor Rano Karno, supported by Metro Jaya Police\nChief Commissioner General Edi Suheri and Jaya Military Command\nCommander Lieutenant General Deddy Suryadi, to keep the Jakarta region\nconducive. \u201cThe Jaga Jakarta movement is a form of real commitment by\nyouth in overseeing the development of an inclusive and sustainable\ncapital city,\u201d said FPPJ General Chairman Endriansyah during the public\ndiscussion held in Jakarta on Wednesday. He asserted that a resilient\nJakarta belongs to everyone and that FPPJ is committed to being at the\nforefront of building synergy between the government, community, and\nyouth. Endriansyah stated that Jakarta\u2019s transition towards a global\ncity requires not only infrastructure development and increased economic\ncompetitiveness, but also strengthened early vigilance to safeguard\nJakarta and active public participation, particularly from the younger\ngeneration. As a follow-up to the discussion, he said FPPJ recommends\nthe establishment of Youth Information Posts, an Anti-Hoax Movement, and\na Jaga Jakarta Synergy Forum. According to him, these three platforms\nare expected to become spaces for collaboration and continuous\nevaluation of various regional issues in Jakarta. \u201cThrough the synergy\nof government, community, and youth, FPPJ is optimistic that Jakarta can\nrealise its vision as a global city that is advanced, safe, inclusive,\nand remains deeply rooted in local cultural values towards its\nfive-century anniversary in 2027,\u201d he said. During the discussion,\nSpecial Staff to the DKI Jakarta Governor for Social Communication,\nChico Hakim, emphasised that Jakarta needs to learn from the best\npractices of world cities without losing its identity and cultural\ncharacter. \u201cJakarta must be able to grow into a modern global city while\nstill maintaining the cultural values that form its identity,\u201d he said.\nFurthermore, DKI Jakarta DPRD Deputy Chair Rany Mauliani explained that\nglobal city status demands a more mature readiness from the community.\n\u201cYouth must take on the role of agents of change as well as guardians of\nsocial harmony amidst the increasingly dynamic development of the city,\u201d\nshe said. Echoing this, Head of the DKI Jakarta National Unity and\nPolitical Agency, Matsani, outlined various government efforts to\nmaintain social stability through participatory programmes. \u201cOne of them\nis through Ngopi Cetar, which serves as a platform for absorbing\ncommunity aspirations to be formulated into policy recommendations,\u201d he\nsaid.
