        "content": "<p>Four teenagers have been arrested by police in connection with the\ndistribution of Class I narcotic drugs in the form of synthetic tobacco.\nThe four suspects were apprehended at various locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspects are allegedly involved in a synthetic tobacco\ntrafficking network that frequently conducts transactions in border\nareas,\u201d said Medan Satria Police Chief Kompol Rusit Malaka, on Friday\n(27 February 2026).<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the operation to eradicate synthetic tobacco-type\nnarcotics was conducted over two days by the Criminal Investigation Unit\nof Medan Satria Police Station, Metro Bekasi City Police. The arrests\nwere led directly by Head of Criminal Investigation Iptu Jomson\nLimbong.<\/p>\n<p>The operation began on Friday (20 February 2026) in Tapos, Depok\nCity, West Java. Officers arrested suspect MRM (19) and recovered 193.8\ngrams of synthetic tobacco as evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Officers then moved to the Cibinong area, Bogor Regency, West Java.\nPolice arrested suspect FAR (19) with a total of 561.3 grams of\nsynthetic tobacco as evidence.<\/p>\n<p>The culmination came on Saturday (21 February) in the early morning,\nwhen the Criminal Investigation team arrested two more suspects, RF (19)\nand AD (19), in Jatiasih and Cibinong with 618 grams of synthetic\ntobacco seized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe total evidence we secured from these four suspects reaches more\nthan 1.3 kilograms,\u201d said Iptu Jomson.<\/p>\n<p>The four youths, all averaging 19 years of age, are now being\ndetained at Medan Satria Police Station. They face charges under\nArticles 114 and 112 of Indonesian Law No.\u00a035 of 2009 concerning\nNarcotics.<\/p>",
