        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - Four male workers died at a building project site on Jalan\nTB Simatupang, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, on Friday (3\/4\/2026). The Head\nof Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the South Jakarta\nPolice, AKBP Mohamad Iskandarsyah, stated that the four bodies are\ncurrently undergoing autopsy. \u201cThat\u2019s correct, there was a discovery of\nbodies this afternoon. They are still being autopsied,\u201d Iskandar told\nKompas.com on Friday. \u201cThe victims are suspected of having inhaled gas\nemanating from the location,\u201d said Nurma in her statement on Friday.\nNurma explained that the incident started when one worker fell into the\nmanhole while dismantling its cover. One of his colleagues tried to help\nand ended up falling in as well. \u201cDuring the evacuation of the victim,\nwitnesses felt heat and stuffiness around the manhole,\u201d she said. After\nthat, DPA called an ambulance to evacuate the victims. The four victims\nwere rushed to Pasar Rebo Hospital and were pronounced dead.
