Four robbers arrested<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): Local police have arrested four out of seven men
\nbelieved to have been involved in a series of robberies here, in
\nTangerang and Bandung, an officer said.<\/p>\n
Bogor Police chief Lt. Col. Edmon Ilyas said Monday the four
\nsuspects, identified as Lamsaud Galingging, 26, P. Harahap, 28,
\nSitanggang, 30, and Sihombing, 33, were arrested Saturday at
\ntheir rented house on Jl. Baru, Cimanggu, Bogor.<\/p>\n
He said the police also seized a Kijang van, two televisions,
\nfive swords, two lamps, two crowbars, a video compact disc player
\nand a toy gun from the suspects.<\/p>\n
"We have identified the other three robbers. We hope to catch
\nthem soon," Edmon said.<\/p>\n
In their operation, the men allegedly broke into houses,
\nthreatened the occupants and stole cash and other valuables, he
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
They also threatened to kill and rape their victims if they
\nrefused to reveal where they kept their valuables, he said.<\/p>\n
"But not one of their victims has been injured so far," Edmon
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
He said the suspects could be charged under Article 365 of the
\nCriminal Code which carries a maximum punishment of nine years in
