        "content": "<p>Medan (ANTARA) - North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution stated that\nfour road sections built under the 2025 Presidential Instruction\n(Inpres) on regional roads were inaugurated by Indonesian President\nPrabowo Subianto. \u201cFor the North Sumatra region, there are four packages\nof the 2025 regional road Inpres with a total road length of 7.10\nkilometres that were inaugurated by the President,\u201d Bobby said in Medan\non Wednesday. The Governor said the four regional road sections\ninaugurated by President Prabowo are part of a total regional road\ndevelopment spanning 1,151 kilometres across 37 provinces in Indonesia.\nThe inauguration is part of the implementation of Presidential\nInstruction Number 11 of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of Regional\nRoad Connectivity to Support Food and Energy Self-Sufficiency. Data from\nthe Ministry of Public Works states that the 2025 regional road Inpres\npackages in North Sumatra, using a single-year contract scheme, cover\nfour road sections. These sections are the preservation of the Batas\nKota Tebing Tinggi\u2013Sibulan road in Serdang Bedagai Regency spanning two\nkilometres, and the Simpang Mangga\u2013Tugu Sujono road in Simalungun\nRegency spanning 1.12 kilometres. \u201cThe Sirongit\u2013Lancang road in Toba\nRegency is 1.7 kilometres, and Jalan Jenderal Sudirman in Tebing Tinggi\nCity is 2.25 kilometres,\u201d Bobby explained. The Governor also discussed\nplans for road infrastructure under the authority of the central\ngovernment in North Sumatra with the Head of the North Sumatra National\nRoad Implementation Centre of the Ministry of Public Works, Hardy\nSiahaan. He noted that while many national road sections in North\nSumatra are in good condition, some still require attention, given that\nthe total length of national roads in the province reaches approximately\n2,600 kilometres. \u201cIn some areas, the road conditions indeed need\nattention. With this regional road Inpres, the community, especially in\nagricultural areas or food barns, will be greatly helped,\u201d he said.\n\u201cPreviously, they had difficulties transporting their harvests; now it\nhas become easy and transport costs will certainly be lower.
