        "content": "<p>Four BLBI suspects detained<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Attorney General's Office has sent four<br>\nsuspects in the BLBI liquidity funds scandal to Salemba<br>\npenitentiary.<\/p>\n<p>The warden of the penitentiary, Sofyan Sugeng, confirmed on<br>\nThursday evening that Kaharudin Ongko, Leonard Tanubrata,<br>\nSamadikun Hartono and David Nusa Wijaya had entered their cells<br>\nlate afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Jakarta Prosecutor's Office chief Basrief Arief said<br>\nthey were taken to Salemba after being under house arrest to<br>\nallow their trials to proceed smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>All four suspects will be detained at Salemba for 20 days,<br>\nBasrief said.<\/p>\n<p>Ongko and Leonard are accused of misappropriating about Rp 7.7<br>\ntrillion of the liquidity loans from Bank Indonesia when they<br>\nwere president director and vice president commissioner of PT<br>\nBank Umum Nasional (BUN), while the former commissioner of Bank<br>\nModern, Samadikun, is implicated in the misuse of Rp 80.7 billion<br>\nof emergency funds.<\/p>\n<p>Another suspect, the former director of PT Bank Umum Servitia,<br>\nDavid Nusa Wijaya, was implicated for the misuse of Rp 1.3<br>\ntrillion of liquidity funds.<\/p>",
