Four arrested for robbery<\/p>\n
BEKASI (JP): The police have arrested four members of a gang
\nof six people they suspect robbed a yarn factory run by PT Daido
\nCahaya Utama in the Bantar Gebang area on June 29.<\/p>\n
The robbers escaped with a truck of yarn worth Rp 150 million
\n($10,500).<\/p>\n
Bekasi police chief Lt. Col. Adjie Rustam Ramdja was quoted by
\nAntara yesterday as saying the four suspects were arrested in
\ndifferent places this week.<\/p>\n
They were identified as Lukman, 37, Muhadi, 32, Asep, 27, and
\nAli Umar, 55, and the three still at large are Iip, Cecep, Agus,
\nand Uday.<\/p>\n
"The authorities seized 1.6 tons of yarn from the four men in
\nGlodok (West Jakarta)," Adjie said.<\/p>\n
Asep admitted to the police he was a former employee of the
\nfactory and that he took part in the robbery as revenge for his
\ndismissal, Adjie said.<\/p>\n
Police in Bekasi are working to smash a gang of criminals
\nspecializing in robbing containers on the northern coastal
\nhighway, he added.<\/p>",
