Four arrested for drug dealing<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Police have arrested four people suspected of
\nselling drugs on university campuses.<\/p>\n
They were apprehended in a raid on their rental house on Jl.
\nK.S. Tubun, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, police said.<\/p>\n
Police identified the suspects as Idi Rusnadi, 25, Tony
\nSianipar, 20, Iwan Irawan, 19, and Hendri Sanyang, 25.<\/p>\n
Hendri is a student of the law school of a prestigious state
\nuniversity in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\"Actually we were looking for Idi for vehicle thefts.
\nBut when we raided the house, we found out that he was about to
\nmake transactions,\" chief of the Tanah Abang Police Subprecinct,
\nCapt. Sigit, told reporters.<\/p>\n
The police confiscated 0.25 kilograms of marijuana, 10
\npackages of putaw low-grade heroin and eight syringes.<\/p>\n
All of the suspects will be charged under the Pyschotropics
\nLaw No.5\/1997, which carries a minimum sentence of five years in
\nprison and a Rp 50 million fine.<\/p>\n
In a separate incident, officers from the Tanah Abang police
\nsubprecinct arrested Rahmat, 40, Sunday for allegedly raping his
\ndaughter.<\/p>\n
The girl, a 16-year-old student, reported the incident to the
\npolice.<\/p>\n
\"She said that her father had raped her three times since last
\nDecember. On Saturday she was raped in the morning when her
\nmother went to the market,\" Sigit said.<\/p>\n
\"But when her father tried to rape her again in the afternoon,
\nshe resisted. She ran away and reported the case to us.\" (edt)<\/p>",
