        "content": "<p>The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has temporarily suspended two\nfoundations managing Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) in Ponorogo, East\nJava. The units are operated by foundation managers who claimed to be\nthe grandchild of a minister in order to pressure SPPG heads, nutrition\nsupervisors, and financial overseers.<\/p>\n<p>The heads of the Kauman Somorot and Jambon Krebet SPPG units in\nPonorogo, Rizal Zulfikar Fikri and Moch. Syafi\u2019i Misbachul Mufid\nrespectively, travelled to Blitar to meet with BGN Deputy Head Nanik\nSudaryati Deyang to seek protection after alleging they had been\npressured and intimidated by the foundation managing their units.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese two SPPG heads from Ponorogo came all the way to Blitar to\nmeet me seeking protection. Apparently, for several months they, along\nwith nutrition and financial supervisors, have been constantly pressured\nand intimidated by a foundation that claims to be owned by a minister\u2019s\ngrandchild,\u201d said Nanik S Deyang when reached for comment in Jakarta on\nTuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation is also suspected of falsifying food procurement.\nWhilst the BGN had allocated Rp10,000 per portion for food procurement,\nthe foundation only spent Rp6,500 per portion. As a result, both unit\nheads were frequently forced to cover the shortfall from their own\npockets to ensure the meals appeared adequate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had no choice but to cover the costs ourselves. I felt sorry for\nthe students receiving the benefit,\u201d said Mufid.<\/p>\n<p>Nanik stated that the actions of the foundation owner overseeing the\nFree Nutritious Meal programme were inhumane and unacceptable.<\/p>",
