        "content": "<p>'Fortune' to launch Asia edition<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Reuter): Fortune, the United States-based business<br>\nmagazine, said yesterday it plans to launch an Asian edition in<br>\nJanuary.<\/p>\n<p>It said in a statement the magazine planned to open a new<br>\nbureau in Singapore and beef up existing bureaus in Tokyo and<br>\nHong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>\"Our bolstered staff in the region will allow us to offer our<br>\nAsian readers up to eight extra pages of locally relevant<br>\nbusiness information in each issue,\" deputy managing editor Rik<br>\nKirkland was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n<p>Fortune is published by Time Inc, a subsidiary of Time Warner<br>\nInc. The magazine's worldwide circulation rate base is 860,000<br>\ncopies and its Asian circulation is over 61,000 copies, the<br>\nstatement said.<\/p>",
