        "content": "<p>Jamaluddin, 49, a former terrorism convict released on parole in\nearly 2025, has successfully developed a food business learned during\nrehabilitation at Sentul Special Prison in Bogor Regency, West Java.\nEast Jakarta resident has expanded his Chicken Jepun business to employ\n13 people, seven agents, 50 Chicken Jepun outlets, and supply\ningredients to eight SPPG kitchens. \u201cAlhamdulillah, this business has\nbeen running for a year since my early 2025 parole,\u201d Jamaluddin said in\nJakarta on Sunday. Today, Jamaluddin was given the opportunity to set up\na stall at the Immigration Directorate General\u2019s Passport Service Car\nFree Day (CFD) event. Jamaluddin was given the chance to introduce and\nmarket his processed food product, Chicken Jepun, a large nugget-style\nkatsu. Jamaluddin produces 100 kg of Chicken Jepun daily, with a minimum\ndaily turnover of Rp10 million. Jamaluddin was sentenced to four years\nin prison in 2022 for trespassing the Presidential Palace. However, due\nto good behaviour, he served only two years and two months. While at\nSentul Prison, Jamaluddin participated in deradicalisation and\nentrepreneurship training programmes, including nugget-making. He was\ngranted parole in early 2025 and is now a client of the East\/North\nJakarta Community Corrections Agency (Bapas). \u201cMy business started after\nmy release when I was unsure what to do and ran out of money after three\nmonths,\u201d he said. He then experimented with making Chicken Jepun, which\nhas since grown to its current scale. \u201cI am grateful for the\nentrepreneurship training I received in prison, which has provided me\nwith useful skills to reintegrate into society,\u201d Jamaluddin said. He is\ncurrently being assisted by the National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT)\nfor BOPM management of his Chicken Jepun business. Immigration and\nCorrection Ministry (Kemenimipas) spokesperson M. Akbar Hadi Prabowo\nstated that Jamaluddin is a client of the East\/North Jakarta Community\nCorrections Agency (Bapas). \u201cMr Jamaluddin is a community client\ncurrently under supervision. Parolees are guided by PK, and his business\nis doing exceptionally well,\u201d Akbar said.<\/p>",
