The ceremony was led by President Prabowo Subianto and\nattended by a number of former National Police chiefs.<\/p>\n<p>The former police chiefs were greeted by President Prabowo during the\nceremony on Wednesday (1\/7\/2026). The event was also attended by senior\nstate officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives\nPuan Maharani, the Speaker of the Regional Representative Council Sultan\nBachtiar Nadjamudin, coordinating ministers, ministers, the Attorney\nGeneral, the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and the\nformer police chiefs.<\/p>\n<p>The list of former police chiefs present at the 80th Bhayangkara Day\nceremony included: Jenderal (Purn) Rusman Hadi (1988-2000), Jenderal\n(Purn) Bimantoro (2000-2001), Jenderal (Purn) Da\u2019i Bachtiar (2001-2005),\nJenderal (Purn) Sutanto (2005-2008), Jenderal (Purn) Bambang Hendarso\nDanuri (2008-2010), Jenderal (Purn) Timur Pradopo (2010-2013), Jenderal\n(Purn) Sutarman (2013-2015), Jenderal (Purn) Badrodin Haiti (2015-2016),\nand Jenderal (Purn) M Tito Karnavian (2016-2019).<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was also attended by ambassadors from friendly nations\nand police attach\u00e9s, as well as leaders of community and religious\norganisations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I am proud of all members of the Indonesian National Police,\nwherever you may be,\u201d President Prabowo said in his address.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, President Prabowo also wished a happy 80th\nBhayangkara Day to all members of the police force. \u201cOn behalf of the\ngovernment of the Republic of Indonesia and all the Indonesian people, I\nwish a happy 80th Bhayangkara Day to the entire extended family of the\nIndonesian National Police, wherever you are serving,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
