Former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie\nAdriansyah was officially detained by investigators of the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office (Kejagung) on Friday evening (24\/7).<\/p>\n
According to CNNIndonesia.com observations at the Kejagung\u2019s Round\nBuilding, Febrie emerged at around 23.05 WIB. He was escorted by\ninvestigators of the Adhyaksa Corps and accompanied by his legal\nteam.<\/p>\n
There was something different about Febrie\u2019s appearance once\ndetention was carried out. Usually, a suspect detained by Kejagung wears\na pink prisoner vest and has their hands cuffed.<\/p>\n
However, Febrie did not wear the pink prisoner vest and his hands\nwere not cuffed. He wore a long-sleeved batik shirt.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday I was examined as a suspect and detention was carried out,\u201d\nFebrie told reporters.<\/p>\n
Febrie said he had discussed his detention with prosecutors.\nAccording to him, the evidence submitted by the prosecutors\u2019\ninvestigation team still needed to be examined in greater depth, so he\ncould not be detained immediately.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has never been like this at the Round Building. All evidence must\nbe confirmed and examined in depth first, with repeated expositions,\nbefore we can be certain that this is not unjust,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Febrie had just completed questioning by Kejagung\u2019s Team 9 over\nalleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU). He had been questioned\nsince the afternoon, from around 13.00 WIB.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis has become the leadership\u2019s decision, and I am ready to face\nit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Kejagung is known to have issued a new Investigation Warrant\n(Sprindik) specifically relating to the alleged money laundering\nsuspected to have been committed by Febrie.<\/p>\n
The issuance of the Sprindik came after Team 9 received evidence in\nthe form of 74 kg of gold and foreign currency worth hundreds of\nbillions of rupiah from the National Police\u2019s Corruption Eradication\nTask Force (Kortas Tipidkor).<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Attorney General\u2019s Office has studied the case, resulting in a\nnew Investigation Warrant specifically for money laundering with Number\nPrint-03\/F.2\/Fd.2\/07\/2026 dated 20 July 2026,\u201d said Anang in a written\nstatement on Thursday (23\/7).<\/p>\n
In addition to Febrie, Anang said Team 9 had summoned three other\nindividuals related to this case on Wednesday (22\/7) to be questioned as\nwitnesses, namely Don Ritto, NH, and TS.<\/p>\n
