Indonesia\u2019s Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni presented\nCertificates of Social Forestry (SK) to Forest Farmer Groups (KTH)\ncovering a total area of 833 hectares benefiting 140 household\nheads.<\/p>\n
The presentation of social forestry certificates took place in the\nNusantara Capital Authority (IKN) in East Kalimantan on Saturday, 28\nFebruary. On this occasion, Raja Juli also conveyed greetings from\nPresident Prabowo Subianto to the forest farmer groups.<\/p>\n
\u201cRespectful greetings to the forest farmer groups from President\nPrabowo Subianto. I wish to emphasise once again that this is a flagship\npresidential programme, where forest as a natural resource is maximised\nfor community welfare,\u201d Raja Juli stated.<\/p>\n
In total, four forest farmer groups received the certificates: KTH\nMeranti Bakungan Makmur, KTH Sentosa Rimba, KTH Quarry, and KTH\nPerjuangan Penjaga Hutan Teluk Pandan.<\/p>\n
According to Raja Juli, Prabowo\u2019s flagship programme provides legal\ncertainty for communities to utilise forest areas productively and\nsustainably.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe presentation of social forestry certificates to these four\nforest farmer groups is part of 8.3 million social forestry certificates\nthat have been distributed to communities,\u201d Raja Juli stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany matters still require resolution, including ensuring legal\naspects for communities so they can maximise forest utilisation whilst\nimproving welfare and protecting forest conservation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Raja Juli, who previously served as Deputy Head of the Nusantara\nCapital Authority (OIKN), noted that this certificate presentation was\nspecial because it was held in IKN, which he described as a dream\ncapital receiving strong direct support from Prabowo.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe event is special because it is held in IKN, a location that\ntruly represents the dream and aspiration of the Indonesian people to\nhave a new capital, Nusantara. Alhamdulillah, we see very strong\npolitical support from President Prabowo Subianto. The presentation was also attended by IKN Authority Head Basuki\nHadimuljono and East Kalimantan Governor Rudy Mas\u2019ud.
