The\nmeasure follows Satgas PKH\u2019s reclamation of forest land that was\nillegally occupied and the installation of signage at the company\u2019s\noperational site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reclamation of forest areas that were illegally occupied has\nbeen completed with the installation of signage. Subsequently, the\nadministrative penalties resulting from this unlawful occupation will be\ncalculated,\u201d stated Satgas PKH spokesperson Barita Simanjuntak on\nThursday (12 March).<\/p>\n<p>Barita declined to disclose the specific penalty amount for PT\nMineral Trobos, despite considerable public speculation. He emphasised\nthat the task force operates authentically, objectively, factually, and\nscientifically, in accordance with applicable legal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeriodically, the task force also reports its performance\nachievements to the public, both regarding the reclamation of forest\nareas and penalty payments, along with detailed information and company\nidentities,\u201d Barita added.<\/p>\n<p>Yudi Purnomo Harahap, a former investigator with Indonesia\u2019s\nAnti-Corruption Commission (KPK), believes Satgas PKH should coordinate\nwith the KPK regarding the sealing of Mineral Trobos\u2019s land. This\nfollows the KPK\u2019s previous investigation of David Glen Oei concerning\nalleged money laundering related to former North Maluku Governor Abdul\nGani Kasuba in October 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoordination is necessary because the sealing of Mineral Trobos\nrepresents an initial phase of the criminal prosecution process,\ndirected at both individuals and the corporation,\u201d Yudi explained.<\/p>\n<p>He also emphasised that Satgas PKH must resolve this case\ncomprehensively, not merely seal the land. The identification of all\nparties involved in illegal forest mining operations must be\nprioritised, including the recovery of state losses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSatgas PKH must act swiftly to create a deterrent effect, including\nexposing the alleged involvement of various parties in illegal forest\nmining,\u201d Yudi stated firmly.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, David Glen Oei stated that he has been retired for four\nyears and no longer manages the company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI now focus on social and religious matters, and football.
