        "content": "<p>Foreigners caught with fake passports<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Soekarno-Hatta International Airport immigration<br>\nofficers have arrested three foreigners for allegedly using false<br>\npassports, police said on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>City police spokesman Lt. Col. E. Aritonang said the two<br>\nGerman nationals, AH and DS, and an Iraqi citizen, RS, were<br>\ncaught on Friday night before they boarded the same flight to<br>\nAustralia.<\/p>\n<p>\"They were apprehended after immigration officers checked<br>\ntheir passports and noticed that they were fake,\" Aritonang said.<\/p>\n<p>During questioning the three confessed to having obtained the<br>\nfake passports from Iwan, whom they said claimed to be an<br>\nimmigration employee, the officer explained.<\/p>\n<p>\"We ran a checks on the three foreigners and it transpired<br>\nthat they have all overstayed their visas. All of them have been<br>\nhere for more than 60 days,\" Aritonang said.<\/p>\n<p>The three are currently being held at the city police<br>\nheadquarters pending further investigation. (edt)<\/p>",
