        "content": "<p>PT KAI recorded that the number of foreign nationals travelling by\ntrain through various stations in the Operational Area 4 Semarang during\nthe first half of 2026 rose by approximately 9.38 percent compared to\nthe same period the previous year. PT KAI Daop Semarang Public Relations\nManager Luqman Arif stated on Friday that the number of foreign\nnationals departing from or arriving at various stations in the Semarang\noperational area from January to June 2026 totalled 51,372 people. This\nfigure, he said, increased compared to the same period last year, which\nreached 46,968 passengers. \u201cSemarang Tawang remains one of the stations\nof choice for foreign nationals departing or arriving, with a total of\n24,976 passengers,\u201d he said. According to him, travelling by train also\nprovides a unique tourism experience for international visitors who wish\nto enjoy the beauty of rural, urban, and even coastal landscapes along\nthe railway line. He added that the train is an efficient and\nenvironmentally friendly mode of transport for foreign nationals\nvisiting Indonesia.
