        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 Indonesia\u2019s Foreign Ministry (Kemlu) has reiterated that\nall discussions related to the Board of Peace (BoP) have been suspended\nand the deployment of Indonesian peacekeeping forces to Gaza, Palestine,\nhas been postponed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe affirm that the deployment of Indonesian peacekeeping forces to\nGaza is currently suspended and all discussions related to the Board of\nPeace remain on hold,\u201d said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nabyl A.\nMulachela to ANTARA in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>This statement was issued in response to reports regarding the\ndeployment of international forces in the Gaza Strip, which were\nreported to begin in May.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated that any possible\nIndonesian participation in the International Stabilisation Force (ISF)\nremains entirely under Indonesia\u2019s national control and is based on UN\nSecurity Council Resolution 2803 (2025) and Indonesia\u2019s free and active\nforeign policy, national interests and international law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia\u2019s participation in the International Stabilisation Force\nis entirely under Indonesia\u2019s national control, based on UN Security\nCouncil Resolution 2803 (2025), and aligned with our free and active\nforeign policy, national interests and international law,\u201d Mulachela\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>On 15 March, Anadolu reported that according to Israel\u2019s public\nbroadcasting agency KAN, Israel is preparing to deploy international\nforces in the Gaza Strip in May as part of the next phase of a plan\nproposed by US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The report indicated that the forces are estimated to include\napproximately 5,000 troops from Indonesia, alongside dozens of troops\nfrom Kazakhstan, Morocco, Albania and Kosovo, which could begin\noperations on 1 May.<\/p>\n<p>The report also stated that the forces would initially be stationed\naround a new Palestinian city being developed with support from the\nUnited Arab Emirates in the Rafah area of southern Gaza before expanding\nto other parts of the territory.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the report mentioned that military delegations from\nparticipating nations are expected to arrive in Israel within two weeks\nto conduct reconnaissance tours of Gaza prior to troop deployment.<\/p>\n<p>On 6 March, the Foreign Ministry announced that Indonesia had decided\nto suspend any discussions regarding the Board of Peace following the\nescalation of the conflict between Iran and the US-Israel alliance on 28\nFebruary.<\/p>",
