        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu)\nhas stated that the focus of the 2026 ASEAN Summit is to address the\nimpacts of global conflicts, particularly those in the Middle East, on\nthe ASEAN region. \u201cSo, what will ultimately be discussed is energy\nresilience, food resilience, and economic stability across the region,\u201d\nsaid Director General of ASEAN Cooperation at Kemlu RI, Ina\nHagniningtyas Krisnamurthi, in Jakarta on Thursday. Ina noted that the\nPhilippines, as the 2026 ASEAN chair, will invite Asian Development Bank\n(ADB) President Masato Kanda to deliver a presentation on the current\nstate of the global economy. Additionally, Indonesia\u2019s Foreign Minister\nSugiono will attend several key meetings at the summit, namely the ASEAN\nForeign Ministerial Meeting (AMM), the ASEAN Political Security\nCommunity (APSC), and the ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC). \u201cThe summit\nis targeted to produce around 24 outcome documents, but the most\nimportant are those that the Philippines will highlight, namely\ndocuments related to maintaining regional stability and resilience,\nparticularly in the field of development economics,\u201d Ina explained.\nRegarding Myanmar, she mentioned that non-political officials from\nMyanmar will attend the 2026 ASEAN Summit in Cebu, Philippines. \u201cAll\nASEAN countries will be invited, and regarding attendance, it will still\nfollow the previous rules and procedures, namely 10 countries at the\nleaders\u2019 level, while Myanmar will participate but represented by\nnon-political officials,\u201d Ina clarified.
