        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 Foreign investors recorded net purchases (net foreign buy)\nin Indonesia\u2019s domestic stock market during trading on Thursday, 12\nMarch 2026. Based on trading data, total net foreign buy reached Rp1\ntrillion from a total transaction value of Rp10.01 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>A number of stocks from the energy, banking, and telecommunications\nsectors attracted the attention of global investors ahead of this year\u2019s\nextended Eid holiday break. The Indonesian stock exchange will be closed\nfrom 18-24 March 2026 in observance of Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr\ncelebrations.<\/p>\n<p>Alamtri Resources Indonesia (ADRO) emerged as the most aggressively\npurchased stock by foreign investors, with net buy value reaching\nRp209.7 billion. Transaction value reached Rp13.38 trillion involving 26.81\nbillion shares across 1.61 million transactions. Market capitalisation\nalso decreased to Rp13,150 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of trading sectors weakened, with the deepest\ncorrections recorded in the infrastructure, property, and non-primary\nconsumer sectors. Only the technology and financial sectors\nstrengthened.<\/p>\n<p>Large-capitalisation stocks were identified as the drivers of IHSG\nperformance.
