Many of the trees are dying<br>\nbecause of neglect. The park was spruced up in the fiscal year<br>\n1993-1994. But after three months the park returned to its<br>\nneglected state. This is partly because the quality of the work<br>\nof the contractor was below par.<\/p>\n<p>When residents tried to complain to the contractor's<br>\nsupervisor about the bad work, he just laughed at them. It is<br>\nparticularly distressing to see goats freely eat the foliage in<br>\nthe park, yet nobody takes the trouble to chase them away.
