        "content": "<p>The Bone Bolango Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in\nGorontalo Province reported one resident swept away by floodwaters\nduring landslides and flooding in Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency,\nGorontalo Province. BPBD Head of Operations Achril Yoan Babyonggo\nconfirmed on Wednesday that the victim, Wahnin Tangahu (35), was carried\nby the current to the sea during the floods and landslides on Tuesday\n(26 May) evening. \u201cThe victim was successfully found and rescued by\nlocals, then taken to Tombulilato Hospital before being referred to Aloe\nSaboe Regional Public Hospital for further medical treatment and is now\nreceiving care,\u201d said Achril. He explained that heavy rain began pouring\nover Bone District from 6:00 PM WITA, with floods and landslides\noccurring around 10:00 PM WITA, flooding dozens of residents\u2019 homes.\nBPBD recorded 35 houses affected by flooding, with one house severely\ndamaged after being swept away by floodwaters and landslides. In initial\nresponse efforts, the village government, alongside TNI (military),\nPolri (police), and volunteers conducted assessments, evacuated victims,\nand assisted displaced residents in Dusun 3. Residents and officials\nalso worked together to clear flood and landslide debris from affected\nareas. The Bone Bolango Regency BPBD stated that urgent needs include\nready-to-eat meals, construction materials, and heavy machinery for\nlandslide debris clearance. Meanwhile, Bone District Head Fian K Ruchban\nreported that affected residents are spread across several villages in\nBone District. The BPBD urged residents to remain vigilant against\npotential subsequent floods and landslides due to continued heavy\nrainfall in the area.<\/p>",
