Flight sevices may be moved to Halim<\/p>\n
Regarding the article in The Jakarta Post on Friday Dec. 31,
\n1999, titled Flight services may be moved to Halim, we would like
\nto clarify a few facts in relation to Cathay Pacific's flight on
\nWednesday, Dec. 29, 1999. Our flight CX776 departed at 4:05 p.m,
\nwith 15 minutes delay and arrived in Hong Kong at 9:21 p.m, only
\nfive minutes behind schedule.<\/p>\n
An on time performance would have been no problem on that date
\nbut we would have left over 70 passengers stranded at the
\nairport. It was our customer service decision to slightly delay
\nthe departure of our flight that day in order to accept
\npassengers delayed by toll road closure.<\/p>\n
We knew that our flight would be able to make up time en route
\nto Hong Kong so that passengers would experience minimal delay
\nand no real inconvenience.<\/p>\n
If you need further information on our flight schedule you
\ncould reach us at 5151747. We advise all passengers to allow
\nextra time for their journey to the airport and are pleased to
\nadvise that our flights are generally leaving on time.<\/p>\n
