Without such formalities, there is fear that solidarity<br>\nand solidity among civil servants will fade away.<\/p>\n<p>Based on Presidential Instruction No. 6\/2000, civil servants<br>\nin government institutions and state-owned enterprises are only<br>\nrequired to hold Independence Day ceremonies on Aug. 17, instead<br>\nof monthly on the same date, which is considered less beneficial<br>\nand more ritualistic in nature.<\/p>\n<p>If Lemhanas (the National Resilience Institute) proposes a<br>\nmonthly ceremony for civil servants to the President, it should<br>\nbe seen as a positive contribution because this body has the<br>\ncompetence to maintain cohesion and nationalism within members of<br>\nthe government apparatus.
