Five sought over armed robbery<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): Bogor Police are searching for five men, in
\nconnection with an armed robbery of a house in Cimandala village,
\nBogor on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
The robbers got away with a 7.92 millimeter calibre black
\nrifle, gold jewelry worth millions of rupiah, a 14-inch TV set, a
\ntape deck, two mobile phones and Rp 2.6 million cash, from the
\nresidence of 45-year-old Tonny Wijaya.<\/p>\n
Tonny told police that at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, a man
\nhad knocked on his front door and as his maidservant, Maryati,
\nopened it, four other men stormed in.<\/p>\n
Tonny said that while one man waited in a parked Kijang van,
\nfour robbers tied his legs and hands up, along with the legs and
\nhands of his daughter Lydia and Maryati.<\/p>\n
\"The robbers threatened to kill us if we made a sound. They
\nasked us where we kept our money and jewelry... we pointed to
\nwhere they were kept,\" Tonny told reporters on Monday.<\/p>\n
\"They took away everything, and sped off in a Kijang van. It
\nwas too hard for us to see the van's registration number.\"
