Five killed in RP shooting<\/p>\n
MANILA (AFP): A man went on a shooting rampage north of
\nManila, killing four people and wounding two others before
\nkilling himself, police said yesterday.<\/p>\n
Nixon Tagyan, 34, late Thursday shot his estranged wife Evelyn
\nMarcos-Tiong, who had remarried to a Hong Kong man, then killed
\nher seven-year-old daughter and parents inside their house in
\nMeycauayan town, Bulacan province north of the capital .<\/p>\n
Marcos-Tiong's sister Noemi, who along with their maid had
\nbeen wounded in the shooting, fled from the house and later
\nreturned with her own pistol and shot Tagyun in the chest.<\/p>\n
Tagyan then put his .45 caliber pistol in his mouth and pulled
\nthe trigger, killing himself, town police commander Chief
\nInspector Enrico Salapong said.<\/p>\n
Police said Tagyan and Marcos-Tiong had no children and had
\nbeen separated for seven years. Tagyun went to Marcos-Tiong's
\nhouse to borrow 50,000 pesos (US$1,470s) Thursday evening and
\nreportedly went berserk after his request was rejected, police
\nsaid.<\/p>",
