Investment realisation in the first quarter of 2025 showed a positive\ntrend, with five key subsectors dominating both foreign direct\ninvestment (PMA) and domestic investment (PMDN).<\/p>\n
Investment and Downstreaming Minister\/BKPM Head Rosan Roeslani\nrevealed that the basic metals, metal goods excluding machinery and\nequipment sector recorded the highest investment value at Rp67.3\ntrillion, equivalent to 14.5% of total investment.<\/p>\n
The second position was occupied by the transport, warehousing and\ntelecommunications sector, with investment reaching Rp66.5 trillion or\n14.3%.<\/p>\n
In third place, the mining sector recorded investment realisation of\nRp48.6 trillion or 10.4%, followed by other services at Rp41 trillion\n(8.8%) and the housing, industrial estates and office sector at Rp37.5\ntrillion (8.1%).<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are the top five sectors that continue to grow and develop in\nthe first quarter, and we see this trend continuing into the next\nquarter and even in the years ahead,\u201d said Rosan at a press conference\nin Jakarta on Tuesday (29\/4).<\/p>\n
