        "content": "<p>Five cops admit to beating students<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Jakarta Police officers questioned 22 members of the<br>\nforce who were allegedly involved in beating protesting students<br>\nlast Thursday, but only five of them have admitted to using<br>\nviolence, said spokesman Sr. Comr. Prasetyo on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The clash between police and demonstrators took place during<br>\nthe announcement of the Supreme Court verdict on Golkar Party<br>\nchairman Akbar Tandjung, who was acquitted of corruption charges.<br>\nAt least 73 students suffered injuries, one suffered a fractured<br>\nskull.<\/p>\n<p>\"The probe is not over yet, we are still questioning<br>\nwitnesses, therefore the number of suspects may increase,\"<br>\nPrasetyo said, adding that the police officers who caused severe<br>\ninjuries would be sent to court.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Jakarta Police chief Insp.
