This clarification was issued in\nresponse to an individual who claimed to be the Chairman of BEM FISIP\nUnas during a press conference held by the BEM Bersatu alliance. \u201cFISIP\nUniversitas Nasional does not have a BEM organisation at the faculty\nlevel. Therefore, there is no position of Chairman of BEM FISIP\nUniversitas Nasional within the student organisation structure at FISIP\nUniversitas Nasional,\u201d said Dean of FISIP Unas, Aos Yuli Firdaus, in a\nwritten statement on Wednesday (17\/6). Aos stated that the individual\nintroduced or claiming to be the Chairman of BEM FISIP Unas at the event\ndoes not have the institutional capacity to represent FISIP Universitas\nNasional in that capacity. He asserted that the individual\u2019s presence\nand statements at the event are a personal responsibility and cannot be\ninterpreted as the official stance, views, or representation of FISIP\nUnas. Aos emphasised that FISIP Unas respects every student\u2019s right to\nexpress opinions, express themselves, and participate in democratic life\nin accordance with applicable laws and regulations. \u201cHowever, the use of\nstudent organisation identities, attributes, and positions must be\ncarried out appropriately, accurately, and responsibly so as not to\ncause misunderstandings in the community,\u201d he said.
