"summary": "Former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer warns that NATO is experiencing disintegration amid tensions between the United States and the European Union, urging Europe to prepare its own security strategy for the first time since World War II. He highlights the weakening of trust in NATO's Article 5 collective defence commitment, exacerbated during Donald Trump's second term following Europe's refusal to join US and Israeli military operations against Iran. Fischer's commentary underscores the need for Europe to determine its own fate and assume responsibility for its security, especially as Trump considers withdrawing the US from the alliance.",
