        "content": "<p>Fiscal study center set up<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): A number of tax experts, in cooperation with<br>\nindependent foundation Yayasan Bina Pembangunan, yesterday set up<br>\na Center for Fiscal and Monetary Studies (CFMS) to help the<br>\ngovernment promote taxation and provide analyses for economic<br>\npolicy-makers.<\/p>\n<p>The center has made Minister of Finance Mar&apos;ie Muhammad an<br>\nhonorary member and Director General of Taxes Fuad Bewazier a<br>\nmember of its board of patrons.<\/p>\n<p>CFMS&apos; chairman Soemarso said the center, based in Jakarta,<br>\nwill emphasize studies on the development of small-scale<br>\nbusinesses, stock market and taxation during its first five years<br>\nof operation.<\/p>\n<p>He said that all its studies will be made available for<br>\npublication.<\/p>\n<p>The experts grouped in the center have since 1987 published a<br>\nseries of tax and economic reviews based on their surveys and<br>\nresearch.
