The hearing will be open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Military Court II-08 Jakarta, Colonel Fredy Ferdian\nIsnartanto, stated on Thursday (16\/4) that the defendant must attend\nthis first trial. Today\u2019s hearing is scheduled for the reading of the\nindictment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe estimated date, we can provide it now; for the time being, we\nwill hold it on Wednesday, the first trial on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.\nThe agenda is the reading of the indictment. The defendant will\ndefinitely be present at the first hearing and is required to attend,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>Fredy stated that there are four defendants in this case. All four\nare members of the TNI\u2019s Denma Bais from the Navy (AL) and Air Force\n(AU) branches.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose four people are Captain NDP, then Lieutenant One BHW, then\nLieutenant One SL, and Sergeant Two ES,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The four suspects are charged under multiple articles related to\nserious assault offences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the charges, we are prosecuting under subsidiarity or layered\ncharges. For the subsidiary charge, Article\n448 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 20 letter C, with a\nmaximum prison sentence of 8 years.
