Several parents reported experiencing problems when\nfilling in registration data, particularly because the home location\ncoordinate point did not appear in the system. \u201cAfter we filled in (the\ngrades column), it was normal at first, but we were confused why the\ncoordinate point didn\u2019t appear. It couldn\u2019t be clicked,\u201d complained\nWayan, a parent, when interviewed at SMPN 2 Mataram. According to Wayan,\nthe absence of the coordinate point meant the registration process could\nnot proceed, as the system requires all data to be filled in first. \u201cIf\nwe don\u2019t fill in the coordinates, we can\u2019t fill in the other documents,\nso it\u2019s a dilemma. It turns out I wasn\u2019t the only one experiencing this\nerror; many other parents were also affected,\u201d he added. Responding to\nthe complaints, Acting Head of SMPN 2 Mataram Ni Nengah Sri Swati\nexplained that most of the problems were experienced by prospective\nstudents who accessed the system before the official registration\nschedule opened. \u201cIt turns out they registered before the official\nregistration opened. For example, they filled it in yesterday, the 21st,\nor at dawn this morning. The official opening was at 8 a.m. this\nmorning,\u201d Nengah Sri said when confirmed in her office on Monday. Nengah\nSri asserted that the system was not problematic. Technical issues, such\nas the coordinate point not appearing, occurred because prospective\nregistrants accessed the system outside the designated operational\nhours. \u201cSo actually there is no problem with the coordinate point.\nSometimes the parents are too eager, thinking it\u2019s a race, that might be\npossible,\u201d she revealed. Meanwhile, for the 2026\/2027 academic year,\nSMPN 2 Mataram, a favourite school among Mataram residents, has recorded\nan increase in student quota. The total number of students is 486, with\na capacity of 11 study groups. Head of the Mataram City Education\nOffice, Yusuf, also stated that the disruptions complained of by several\nparents occurred because they tried to access the system before\nregistration officially opened. \u201cMost parents who filled it in before\nthe registration opening, that\u2019s why they got an error,\u201d Yusuf\nexplained. He confirmed that the registration site is now functioning\nnormally and can be accessed by the public. \u201cIt\u2019s running now,\u201d he said.\nFor information, the SPMB for junior secondary school level in Mataram\nCity is divided into four pathways: domicile at 50 percent, achievement\nat 25 percent, mutation at 5 percent, and affirmation at 20 percent. The\nachievement pathway is further divided into three: academic achievement\nbased on report card grades at 12 percent, non-academic achievement at 8\npercent, and religious achievement at 5 percent. The achievement and\naffirmation pathways are open from 22-24 June, with announcements on 25\nJune and re-registration on 26 and 29 June. Meanwhile, the domicile and\nmutation pathways take place from 29 June to 1 July 2026, with\nannouncements on 2 July 2026 and re-registration on 6-8 July 2026.<\/p>",
