        "content": "<p>The first group of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims returning from Saudi\nArabia has arrived in Indonesia via Batam in the Riau Islands yesterday\n(31 May). The Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) has given special\nattention to the health of pilgrims upon their arrival in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Batam Embarkation PPIH, Muhammad Syafii, said the\nfirst flight group (kloter), BTH 01, arrived at Hang Nadim International\nAirport in Batam on Sunday (31 May) at approximately 5.15 pm WIB.\n\u201cAlhamdulillah, BTH 01 arrived safely. Upon arrival in Batam, all\npilgrims immediately underwent immigration and health checks at the\nairport, including temperature checks, before proceeding to the Hajj\nAccommodation Centre,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The first Batam embarkation kloter comprised 442 people, including\n438 pilgrims and four Hajj officers. They originated from Batam City,\nTanjungpinang City, Bintan Regency, and Lingga Regency. Syafii confirmed\nall arrivals were in good health. \u201cAlhamdulillah, all 442 individuals\nwho arrived today are in good health,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Syafii explained that pilgrims from Tanjungpinang, Bintan, and Lingga\nwould stay overnight at the Hajj Accommodation Centre before returning\nto their respective regions, while those from Batam could go home\nimmediately after the reception process.<\/p>\n<p>The PPIH also provided special services for elderly and disabled\npilgrims. After health checks and immigration procedures, they were\ntransported by ambulance directly to the Batam Hajj Accommodation\nCentre. \u201cFor the elderly and disabled, after temperature checks and\nimmigration, they were taken to the Hajj Accommodation Centre by\nambulance. They could proceed directly to their rooms without\nparticipating in the standard disembarkation ceremony,\u201d Syafii said.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Batam Embarkation PPIH has arranged referrals to\nseveral hospitals in case pilgrims require further medical treatment.\n\u201cIf any pilgrims need further treatment based on airport health checks,\nthey are immediately referred to hospitals. We have partnered with\nreferral hospitals including RSBP, Awal Bros, and others,\u201d Syafii\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Although the first kloter arrived safely, three pilgrims did not\nreturn with the group. Two are still receiving treatment in Saudi\nArabia, while one from Lingga Regency passed away during the Hajj.<\/p>\n<p>Syafii stated that all pilgrims who have returned to Indonesia\nsuccessfully completed the Hajj rituals. \u201cAlhamdulillah, all Hajj\nrituals have been completed. Pilgrims are returning home happy and\ngrateful,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
