Fire razed the 4th floor of a tax building<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Fire destroyed the fourth floor of the Taxation
\nAgency building in Jl. H.R Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, on Sunday
\nbut there were no reports of casualties.<\/p>\n
According to an official from the fire department in South
\nJakarta, Sodara Pandu, it was still investigating the cause of
\nthe fire which occurred at 5.20 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n
By the time the blaze was extinguished at 6.10 p.m., it had
\ndestroyed the fourth floor and its entire contents, Pandu said.<\/p>\n
\"We reached the scene not too long after it was reported,
\ntherefore, we managed to stop the fire before it spread to the
\nother floors,\" he said.<\/p>\n
South Jakarta fire department dispatched nine fire fighting
\nunits to tackle the fire.<\/p>\n
He did not say whether the fire was deliberately set or not.<\/p>\n
Recently, the Trade and Industry Department building near
\nGambir railway station in Central Jakarta was reportedly set on
\nfire in an act of sabotage. --JP<\/p>",
