Fire guts RI envoy's home in Stockholm<\/p>\n
STOCKHOLM (Agencies): The Indonesian ambassador's residence in
\nStockholm was ravaged by a devastating fire yesterday morning as
\none person was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation,
\nrescue officials said.<\/p>\n
The identity of the injured person was not disclosed.<\/p>\n
The ambassador, Haringon Hardjotanojo, and his family were
\nsafe outside the residence, while four employees were inside the
\nbuilding when the fire broke out.<\/p>\n
Some 50 firemen fought the blaze which started in the attic of
\nthe two-story building located in the posh Stockholm suburb of
\nLidingoe.<\/p>\n
The fire in the residence, a two-story stone structure, was
\nreported about 10:00 a.m. (0800 GMT). Firefighters battled the
\nblaze for three hours before declaring it under control.<\/p>\n
One person who was inside the residence when the fire broke
\nout was taken to a hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
\nThe name of the injured was not immediately available.<\/p>\n
Ambassador Haringon Hardjotanojo was in the city of Malmoe,
\n500 kilometers southwest of Stockholm yesterday, Swedish news
\nagency TT reported.<\/p>\n
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, but police
\nsaid there had not been any threats against the residence or the
\nembassy, which is in another part of the city.<\/p>",
