Fire guts garment factory<\/p>\n
BOGOR: A garment factory caught fire on Monday, allegedly due
\nto an electrical short circuit.<\/p>\n
Fire destroyed the building, owned by CV Mulya Utama, located
\nin Sindangsari village in Bogor regency, causing losses of
\nhundreds of millions of rupiah.<\/p>\n
An employee said that the fire started at 9 a.m., originating
\nfrom the employers' boarding rooms on the second floor of the
\nfactory.<\/p>\n
The factory owner, Dedeh Rosidah, said that she had run the
\nbusiness for 10 years and exported garments to Japan. It had 40

JAKARTA: A 24-year-old resident of Kramat Asem, East Jakarta,
\ndied at about 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday when his Toyota Kijang hit
\nanother vehicle and then rammed into the wall of the toll gate at
\nRawamangun, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Witnesses said the victim, identified as Jimny, was racing
\nwith the driver of a Suzuki Carry on Jl. Jend. Achmad Yani. The
\nKijang hit the Suzuki Carry and then crashed into the wall,
\ntipping over and killing Jimny and injuring Tapsri, a passenger
\nin the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Ratno of the Kebon Nanas Police said Tapsri was rushed to the
\nIntensive Care Unit at the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital,
\nwhile Jimny's body was taken to the hospital's morgue.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Suzuki Carry, whose identity was not
\nreleased, also was taken to the hospital with injuries he
