Fire claims couple's lives<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: A young couple died on Friday morning as fire
\ngutted their home in the Pondok Indah Kota Bumi housing complex
\nin the Pasar Kemis area of Tangerang.<\/p>\n
The remains of the victims, Edi Suryanto, 35, and his wife
\nYohane, 22, were found wrapped in an embrace near the kitchen
\ndoor.<\/p>\n
According to Yusuf, a neighbor, the couple arrived home at
\nabout 2 a.m. after watching the Divasea Concert at the Gelora
\nBung Karno sports complex in Central Jakarta. Yohane turned on
\nthe gas stove to boil water but she and her husband then fell
\nasleep.<\/p>\n
\"My wife was awoken by the smell of smoke, and she rushed out
\nto find out where it was coming from. The smoke, in fact, was
\ncoming from our next door neighbor's house, which was on fire,\"
\nYusuf said.<\/p>\n
Two fire engines and local residents managed to put out the
\nfire by 4 a.m.<\/p>",
