Frans had been on the wanted list (DPO) since November\n2023.<\/p>\n<p>Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko\nHadi Santoso, confirmed that Frans Antoni was arrested in Kuala Lumpur,\nMalaysia, on Thursday morning (18\/6), after previously moving between\nhiding places in Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the investigation, Frans Antoni was officially declared a\nfugitive on 12 November 2023 in connection with a money laundering case\n(TPPU). During his time on the run, he was detected residing in Thailand\nwith the full support of Fredy Pratama\u2019s network. \u201cThe suspect initially\nlived in Phattanakan, an elite area in Bangkok, before eventually\nsettling in the Narasiri area for nearly two years,\u201d said Brigadier\nGeneral Eko Hadi Santoso in Jakarta on Friday (19\/6).<\/p>\n<p>While in Thailand, Frans was assisted by a local citizen acting on\nFredy Pratama\u2019s orders to conceal his whereabouts and facilitate his\nlogistical needs. His attempt to flee ended when he tried to enter\nMalaysian territory illegally.
