Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara has ensured that\nthe realisation data for the State Budget (APBN) will be presented\nimmediately after her inauguration.<\/p>\n
As a note, the Ministry of Finance has not yet published the detailed\nAPBN realisation for the July and August 2026 budget months. The last\npresentation regarding APBN performance was for the first semester of\n2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cRegarding the APBN, we will hold an ALCo (Asset and Liability\nCommittee) press conference as soon as possible,\u201d Suahasil stated during\na press conference at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on\nMonday.<\/p>\n
ALCo is a forum within the Ministry of Finance that discusses\neconomic developments, the implementation of the APBN, state revenue and\nexpenditure, as well as government financing and cash conditions. The\nresults of the ALCo discussions serve as a basis for evaluating and\nformulating the government\u2019s fiscal policy steps.<\/p>\n
Suahasil stated that the reporting of the July and August APBN data\nwill be presented with complete data so that the public can receive\ntransparency in the management of the state budget.<\/p>\n
The former Deputy Finance Minister noted that she would continue the\nwork within the state treasurer\u2019s institution to ensure the Ministry of\nFinance remains a credible institution.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will continue our respective work and make the Ministry of\nFinance a credible, trustworthy institution that is a source of pride\nfor all the people of Indonesia,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Suahasil Nazara as Finance\nMinister, replacing Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, in a ceremony at the State\nPalace, Jakarta, on Monday.<\/p>\n
Suahasil was appointed as the new Finance Minister as stipulated in\nPresidential Decree Number 97P of 2026 concerning the Dismissal and\nAppointment of Finance Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the\nremainder of the 2024\u20132029 term, which was established on 14 September\n2026 by President Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n
Suahasil is the third Finance Minister in President Prabowo\nSubianto\u2019s administration. The previous Finance Minister, Purbaya, was\ninaugurated on 8 September 2025 to replace Sri Mulyani.<\/p>\n
Suahasil began her tenure as Deputy Finance Minister on 25 October\n2019 in the Indonesia Maju Cabinet led by President Joko Widodo.
