        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has stated\nhis plan to travel to the Holy Land to perform the Hajj pilgrimage on\nThursday (21\/5), if no obstacles arise. \u201cThursday (21\/5), if there are\nno hindrances,\u201d Purbaya said at the Presidential Palace Complex,\nJakarta, on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Purbaya noted that he has been preparing for the pilgrimage for the\npast two weeks, including studying the necessary prayers for the\nrituals. \u201cHajj preparations began two weeks ago; I have been studying,\nbut I still forget some of the prayers,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this announcement, Purbaya attended a limited meeting\n(ratas) alongside several economic ministers, led by President Prabowo\nSubianto, at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday afternoon.\nOther officials in attendance included Coordinating Minister for\nEconomic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Energy and Mineral\nResources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming\nRosan Roeslani, and Governor of Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo.<\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting, Purbaya confirmed that various measures are\nbeing taken to help stabilise the rupiah exchange rate, including more\nactive involvement in the bond market. The government plans to implement\na Bond Stabilisation Fund scheme using available budgets. When asked\nabout the volume of funds, Purbaya stated he is requesting Rp2 trillion\nto enter the bond market daily. \u201cWe still have several avenues; it is\nmerely a matter of cash management. Therefore, it is not an issue,\u201d\nPurbaya explained regarding the source of the funds. He noted that the\ncirculation of money in the bond market is projected to drive positive\nsentiment, which typically encourages foreign capital inflows.<\/p>",
