Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has ensured that the oversight\nof the budget for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme will\ncontinue, even after the Attorney General\u2019s Office named three former\nofficials of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) as suspects in an\nalleged corruption case.<\/p>\n
According to Purbaya, the monitoring of state budget usage is\nconducted by various institutions, ranging from the Financial and\nDevelopment Supervisory Agency (BPKP) to the Attorney General\u2019s Office.\nThese agencies also exchange data to support the oversight process.<\/p>\n

When asked for comment regarding the designation of the former Head\nof the BGN as a suspect, Purbaya emphasised that the government would\nnot interfere with the ongoing legal process. He stated that the\nprevious change in BGN leadership was the result of the President\u2019s\nevaluation of the agency\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n
