        "content": "<p>Festival to hold comic-making class<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The Indonesian Comics Society will hold a comic-<br>\nmaking workshop on Saturday at the Comics Festival at Mal Ciputra<br>\nin Grogol, West Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The Comics Festival will run from Aug. 28 to Sept. 12.<\/p>\n<p>During the three-day workshop, experienced comic-strip artists<br>\nwill guide participants in making a finished strip of their own<br>\nfrom scratch.<\/p>\n<p>Scriptwriters grouped under the Pustaka Bobo will hold on<br>\nSunday a script-writing workshop on how to construct an<br>\ninteresting plot for comics.<\/p>\n<p>Those interested should contact the festival's organizing<br>\ncommittee at (021) 5662121 for further information, as places are<br>\nlimited and fees apply.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the workshops, the festival will also hold a talk on<br>\nIndonesian comics, a book fair and a comic coloring competition<br>\nfor children. -- JP<\/p>",
