        "content": "<p>The legal defence team for suspect Febrie Adriansyah has denied that\ntheir pre-trial motion is an attempt to have assets\u2014including nearly\nhalf a trillion rupiah in cash and 74 kg of gold found at a house in\nSentul, Bogor, West Java\u2014returned to their owner. Lawyer Febri Diansyah\nstressed that the pre-trial motion filed by his team is solely intended\nto assess the legal validity of the search mechanism carried out by the\nNational Police investigation team at the home of the former Junior\nAttorney General for Special Crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Febri emphasised that what his client has requested to be returned\nare documents and other items related to personal ownership. \u201cSo let\nthis be clear: what the applicant (Febrie) has requested to be returned\nto him are personal and family belongings,\u201d said Febri at the South\nJakarta District Court on Wednesday (19\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to Febri, the personal items requested to be returned are\noutside the context of the cash assets and gold bullion that remain in\nthe possession of investigators. \u201cAmong them are personal documents that\nhave no connection to the case,\u201d said Febri.<\/p>\n<p>He detailed the personal items that were also seized by\ninvestigators, such as family photographs and other belongings. \u201cSo we\ncan confirm that in the pre-trial motion, what has been requested to be\nreturned to Mr FA are documents and personal items,\u201d said Febri.<\/p>\n<p>As for the seized assets consisting of cash in various currency\ndenominations totalling Rp 467 billion and 74 kg of gold, they remain in\nthe possession of investigators and will be used as evidence.<\/p>",
