The FBS party\nacknowledged that adjustments to news headlines have clarified that the\nalleged fraud pertains to individuals, rather than the FBS brand\nitself.<\/p>\n<p>This clarification was issued in response to recommendations from the\nPress Council regarding a complainant\u2019s request to retract three\nspecific news articles. The Press Council\u2019s recommendation is documented\nin Press Council Letter Number 1316\/DP\/K\/IX\/2026, dated 18 September\n2026, concerning the Resolution of Complaints.<\/p>\n<p>The Press Council\u2019s analysis concluded that the complainant did not\nmeet the requirements of Article 3 of the Press Council Complaint\nProcedures, as the news items were published beyond the two-month window\nallowed for complaints, unless involving special cases such as public\ninterest or SARA (ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group) issues.\nFurthermore, the request to delete the news could not be granted as\npublished news cannot be retracted due to external censorship, according\nto Press Council Regulation Number 1\/2012.<\/p>\n<p>In their clarification, the legal counsel for FBS stated the\nfollowing:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><p>They acknowledge and appreciate the editorial response dated 26\nAugust 2026 and the headline adjustments in the three aforementioned\nnews reports, which clarify that the allegations involve individuals and\ndo not assign fault to the entire FBS brand entity.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Neither Ms Yulia Ivanova nor the legal entity they represent is a\nparty, suspect, defendant, or reported person in the legal case\nmentioned in the news, nor have they received any funds related to the\ncase.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>The suspect mentioned in the news is not an employee, director,\nor official representative of the legal entity they represent, and did\nnot act on its behalf.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>The<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>",
