It happened that this\nfriend of a friend was at Semarang Metropolitan Police Headquarters, and\ncoincidentally from the mobile brigade unit as well,\u201d said Singgih when\nmet at the family home in Gebugan Village, Bergas, Semarang Regency, as\nreported by detikJateng on Monday (7\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy friend informed me that our daughter had been found and that her\ncondition was already deceased. We received the information with great\nshock \u2014 having to hear news like that,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Singgih said he had intended to go to Semarang Police to collect\nMozza\u2019s tablet, which had been examined as evidence. He then travelled\nto Semarang to identify the body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI conveyed that I had already received the news that our daughter\nhad been found. In the end, Semarang Police assisted us in going to\nBhayangkara Hospital for the identification of the body,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the case of Mozza\u2019s (17) disappearance came to light\nfollowing the discovery of a skeleton in a ravine along the toll road in\nthe Jangli area of Semarang City. The discovery stemmed from the\nconfession of the perpetrator, Mahendra Very Dwi Anggara (22), who was\narrested on Thursday (3\/9) in Blora.<\/p>\n<p>Mozza\u2019s disappearance was reported by her family on 28 June 2025. The\nmurder of Mozza was uncovered after police found evidence in the form of\nchats on the victim\u2019s Instagram account, which was still linked to the\nmobile phone held by her parents.<\/p>",
