Father rapes young daughter<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Police arrested a man Thursday for allegedly
\nraping his 11-year-old daughter at his house in Ciputat,
\nTangerang, some 25 kilometers south of here.<\/p>\n
South Jakarta Police Detective Rycko A. Dahniel said Thursday
\nthat they arrested Teguh Krisdianto, 36, after the girl and her
\naunt reported the rape.<\/p>\n
\"We are still questioning him,\" Rycko said.<\/p>\n
The girl, identified only as AR, a sixth-grade elementary
\nstudent, told her aunt that her father raped her twice, once in
\nthe bathroom and then in a bedroom.<\/p>\n
\"I told my mother he raped me, but she did nothing because she
\nis afraid of my father. He said he would beat me if I told anyone
\nhe raped me,\" she said in tears.<\/p>\n
The girl ran away from home Wednesday, to her aunt in the
\nKebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
AR's aunt, Yusnita, reported the rape to the South Jakarta
\nPolice precinct Wednesday. Thursday AR went with her to the
\nprecinct for questioning.<\/p>\n
The suspect works at a garage on Jl. Raya Ciputat. AR is his
